The project is providing technical assistance to the Ministry of Economic Infrastructure of the Ivory Coast, as well as the AGEROUTE and the Road Maintenance Fund (RMF), for the improvement of the management and maintenance of the country's road network.
The Consortium is supporting the Ministry of Economic Infrastructure through institutional reform in road management and maintenance as well as in the development and monitoring of relevant strategies and sectorial policies.
The AGEROUTE is a state agency, under the Ministry of Economic Infrastructure of Ivory Coast, responsible for the operation, monitoring and maintenance of the country's road network. The Consortium is supporting AGEROUTE in the programming and monitoring of road maintenance activities, the preparation and launch of tenders for the recruitment of contractors, the collection and verification of road data, improving understanding of the role of the private sector in road maintenance, and communications and information regarding the protection of road assets.
