Sustainable Local Transport in Siberia and Russian Far East – Project Preparation Assistance
(EBRD: Russia, 2007-2008)

Corporate Solutions was awarded a framework contract to provide specific consultancy input to prepare, define, assess and develop a potential portfolio of investment project that ultimately aims to modernise and increase the efficiency of the local transport systems in Siberia and Russian Far East region. The scope of project will cover the following:

• Analysis of legal framework governing urban transport in Russia, highlighting opportunities and constraints in structuring projects to foster sustainable and commercial urban transport operations;

• Based on existing EBRD project documentation, developing standard EBRD Project Documentation Packages;

• Support to link with the Russian professional transport community to facilitate dissemination and sharing of best practices;

• Project-related consultancy with specific inputs to help identify, prepare and appraise bankable projects.

Typical tasks are likely to include project structuring, environmental, economic or financial analysis, due diligence for investment proposals and design for "transition impact".
