Tashkent Water Supply Improvement Project |

The purpose of the project is to assist Tashkent Municipal Water Company in the preparation and implementation of a Financial and Operational Performance Improvement Programme (FOPIP). The objectives of the assignment are to identify a programme of improvement in the financial and operational management of the company; develop a strategy and a timetable for the company to achieve private sector participation in its operations; enhance the company's ability to prepare and forecast medium-term investment needs; and to establish a programme of milestones and indicators for measurable improvements to enhance operational efficiency and levels of service (e.g. reducing unaccounted for water; improving revenue collection and developing tariff formula). |
