The national telecommunications operator of Tajikistan , Tajiktelecom, received a loan from the EBRD to invest in the rehabilitation of the country's telecommunications infrastructure. In March 2002, Corporate Solutions was appointed to provide assistance to Tajiktelecom in the areas of corporate strategy, organisational development, billing and revenue collection, and accounting and auditing in line with international standards. An important aspect of the project concerned the training of a large number of Tajiktelecom staff in financial planning, International Accounting Standards and information technology. |
