The overall objective of the Project is to assist Tajikistan to improve the quality of its road network through improved road maintenance. A key aspect of this objective is to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the fleet of road maintenance equipment which is operated and maintained by the MoTC. This will be achieved through meeting two specific aims to be covered by this assignment: • preparation of a Road Maintenance Management Plan (the “Plan”); • assistance with the procurement of new road maintenance equipment to be purchased through the EBRD loan. |
