Assisting EBRD
with the preparation of transport projects in Tacis counties |
Corporate Solutions, in association with Arup, was awarded a contract to assist the Transport Team at the EBRD with the preparation and implementation of transport investment projects in the Tacis region. The major part of the transport throughout the region is oil and oil products and these assignments have helped us create a valuable insight in to the oil and gas industries in the region as the main clients of the transport companies. The brief for individual call-off contracts included assignments to provide assistance at all stages of the project preparation cycle, including due diligence studies. During a two-year period we conducted financial, technical and environmental due diligence studies of transport investment projects of total value of 100 Million Euros in Azerbaijan (Roads), Kazakhstan (Railways and Airport), Georgia (Railways), Ukraine (Railways and Port) and Russia (Freight Wagon Manufacturing and PPP). Three of these projects have been presented to the Board of the EBRD for approval and are in final stages of review. |
