Corporate Solutions, together with Aria Consulting has won a contract for provision of technical assistance to the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic in structural reforms in the areas related to Public Finance Management and Social Protection. The purpose of this project is to assist the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic to continue its structural adjustment reform along with the implementation of the Country Development Strategy aimed at reducing poverty in the country. Main tasks include: (i) Supporting the Ministry of Economy and Finance in improving the policy framework that contributes to the Public Finance reform process by promoting a number of institutional and systemic developments to strengthen public expenditure management; (ii) Providing policy advice to the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection on the process of elaborating a social policy and formulating policy alternatives that will facilitate the efficient and effective targeting of social services to the poorest and vulnerable, including improved income assessment mechanism and the reform of the benefits system. |
