Krasnodar Urban Transport Project Preparation - Public Transport Fleet Renewal & Priority Investment Programme |
The EBRD is planning a loan of € 10 million to the Krasnodar Tram and Trolleybus Company. The priority is to finance the refurbishment of the Company's aging Tatra tram fleet, workshop equipment and depot rehabilitation. TransTec and Corporate Solutions are developing a replacement / refurbishment programme for the whole fleet, including vehicles which could possibly be sold or scrapped. Objectives of the project include: advice on the optimal transport system in Krasnodar, taking into account the role and costs of the different transport modes (tram and bus); identification of potential scope for increasing productivity of the Company and outsourcing; development of a coherent, cost-effective and affordable tram fleet renewal plan; draft specifications for goods and services related to the Tram Fleet Renewal Programme; and preparation of Priority Investment Programme covering complementary investments. |
