Illichevsk Port Modernisation Project – Assistance with Preparation for Project Preview |
The EBRD was considering providing a loan to the Merchant Port of Illichevsk for the purpose of financing “Ilichevsk Port Modernisation Project” - infrastructure reconstruction, modernisation of handling equipment and dredging works in order to increase the operational reliability and efficiency of the port's services. Corporate Solutions carried out a due diligence review to assess the technical and financial viability of the project and the long-term viability of the Port. This included market, financial, environmental and institutional analysis and technical assessment. The final report was submitted in March 2004. In December 2004, the EBRD requested the Consultant to revise sections 3 and 7 of the final report to include full data for 2003 and 2004 in the market analysis section and expand on the earlier review of the Port's existing institutional environment. These sections, plus Annex 1, were updated with the remaining sections left unchanged. |
