The purpose of the
project is to monitor, under the supervision of the EC Delegation
and in coordination with the Ministry of Finance, the implementation
of the sector policy support programme (SPSP) — support to public
finance management (PFM) reform in Georgia.
Corporate Solutions will also have to build capacity in the
governmental bodies to enable governmental officials and civil
servants to fully understand the importance of the reform and its
political and economic implications.
Finally, the project will work with governmental structures
responsible for the PFM reforms to monitor and facilitate their
activity so that their objectives and scope are implemented. To this
end, the project will provide assistance in order to create capacity
in the governmental bodies to effectively prioritise, plan,
coordinate and monitor its obligations under the Government reforms
programme and the consequent EC SPSP. |
