Training on “Financial Management Under IFI Standards”

Corporate Solutions have just been awarded this contract by the Ministry of Education in Azerbaijan with the main objective to provide selected Azerbaijani accountants /financial managers with training which will enhance the management skill and efficiency of relevant implementation agencies.

The training will equip the relevant managers with practical knowledge and appropriate professional skills in the financial management policies and procedures of the International Financial Institutions (IFIs).

The content will include; Familiarisation with Financial Management and Disbursement Policies and procedures of IFI’s operating in Azerbaijan; An Understanding of the implications of Accounting and Tax regulations of the Azerbaijan Republic; Practical examples of how to prepare different types of Withdrawal Applications; Training on how to improve Financial Management Systems; Building capacity of the PIUs to successfully manage projects financed by every IFI.
